I've recently done a bunch of albums for folks since I've taken pictures at a bunch of parties and I've been trying to come up with a better way to let them proof their albums before I print them. And with three albums in the works (and one customer debating an album) I know that this is a problem I need to solve ASAP. So I was thrilled when I came across an offer on the Pay It Forward site for the Flashpalette Album Viewer. I downloaded an evaluation copy and it is pretty cool and it seemed pretty easy to use (I didn't read any instructions - I just started messing around with it and I managed to get something to preview. So, if you are looking for a way to preview albums, go check it out! I can totally see other uses for this...like displaying a catalog!
Updated: You can see my first album using the evaluation version here. It was really easy and looks like I would be able to customize it without major problems. Wow, looking at last year's portfolio album really helps me to realize how far my photography has come this year - and makes me want to get my new portfolio album laid out ASAP.
