Now that I've got my loft setup to work from I've found that I have some new essential gear that has nothing to do with my photography. Here it is so you can ask Santa for it under your tree!
Tassimo Single Shot Coffee Maker
I love this single shot coffee maker. The Chai Latte is YUMMY!!!! It is great for entertaining clients and friends. Now I want one for home too. There are other single shot coffee makers that are also supposed to be very good. I liked the brands of coffee and tea that was available for the Tassimo which made the decision easier for me.
Seagate Go Drive
I recently got one of these little portable drives and I love it. It is 320 GB, super fast for transfers, and the small form factor makes it easy to bring files back and forth between my home workstation and my office. Since it hooks up via USB I just connect a cable and it shows up as a drive on my computer.
2009 Mini Cooper S
Yep, I did indeed get a new Mini Cooper S as my Christmas gift from my husband. He is so sweet-and yes, cars at Christmas do come with a big red bow. So now I can zip to work in this fun fast car and actually park in the parking space in front of my building without blocking the stairs up to it! Even if you don't get a Mini in your driveway, you can get one in your stocking with one of the many mini themed books on Amazon. :)
Matilda Jane Clothing
I'm still totally drawn to the Matilda Jane Clothing line. I can't help it. And now that they've worked through some of their growing pains I like them more than ever. When I look in my daughter's closet I always want to pull out one of her MJC outfits. And when I photograph her it is almost always in her Matilda Jane.
I love Matilda Jane, too! I can't wait to photograph my daughter in some of the outfits she is getting for Christmas. The clothes are simply adorable.
